The U.S.-Israel Business Initiative (USIBI) is the premier vehicle advancing the bilateral commercial relationship between the United States and Israel. USIBI pursues policy and organizes activities to deepen our strategic alliance through greater economic integration, trade, and investment.
USIBI furthers members’ commercial interests through the following:
- Advancing public policies before the government of Israel and the U.S. government to promote and enhance bilateral commercial relations.
- Advocating on behalf of U.S. companies on macroeconomic, investment, and trade policies that expand their access in the Israeli market.
- Serving as a bridge for American business, the Israeli government, and the Israeli private sector to discuss key issues.
The USIBI is a core program of the Middle East and North Africa Affairs Department. It is part of the U.S.Chamber of Commerce and integral to the International Division that helps the U.S. business community compete in the global marketplace. The Initiative has full access to the Chamber’s congressional and legal affairs divisions, as well as various Chamber institutes and programs. This access can be used to advance USIBI policies, programs, and initiatives.
