Tel Aviv, November 12, 2024. Amcham Israel today launched a new Forum to focus on the growing important sector of Bio-Economy and Bio-Manufacturing.  At the inaugural meeting, led by industry veteran and Amcham lead consultant Anya Eldan, in the Amcham offices in Tel Aviv, over 40 people from industry, Israeli and U.S. government and academia participated. The move follows strategies launched by the U.S.' Biden administration, by the Eurpean Union and by other countries.  The Forum's objectives are to craft a similar strategy in Israel and connect it to those in the United States and others.  While the Israeli Bio-manufacturing industry is young it is very innovative already and connects established players, starups and academia.
