(November 14, 2018)  Chamber member Teva Pharmaceuticals hosted senior executives from most of the big Pharma companies in Israel for a Round-Table to discuss ethics, the global regulatory environment and implications to Pharma companies in Israel, with Thomas B. Cueni the Director General of IFPMA, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations.  The Round-Table was organized by the Chamber's Pharma Committee in collaboration with Pharma Israel.  Mr. Mati Gill, Head of Government Affairs at Teva and Chamber Board member opened the meeting and was followed by Mr. Raphy Blum, General Manager of AbbVie Israel and Chair of the Chamber's Pharma Committee.

At his presentations Mr. Cueni described the structure of the IFPMA and covered the Code of Practice to which any member company who joins the organization must comply. This initiated a lively discussion on the changes of the regulatory requirements by the Israeli Ministry of Health and their impact on the Pharma companies.
