About the Speaker

Leonardo Leiderman is the Jack and Lisa Yael Professor (Emeritus) of Comparative Economics at the Berglas School of Economics, and Visiting Professor at the Coller School of Management, Tel-Aviv University. In addition, he is the Chief Economic Advisor of Bank Hapoalim, the largest commercial bank in Israel. Among previous senior positions held by Prof. Leiderman are: Managing Director and Head of Emerging Markets Economics at Deutsche Bank, based in New York and London (2000 to 2002), and Senior Director and Head of the Research Department at the Bank of Israel (1996 to 2000).
