In June, the Chamber supported the Bulgaria-America Chamber of Commerce in organizing a conference for building an innovation and technology ecosystem. The Chamber was represented by Yaniv Garty, Chamber Chair and CEO of Intel Israel, Chemi Peres, Managing Partner, Pitango Venture Capital and former Chamber Chair, and Ariela Hezi-Ashkenazi, Chamber Vice President, who shared best practices and experience gained by the Israeli high-tech ecosystem.

Among the conference attendees were several government ministers, high-level officials and many high-tech business leaders from Bulgaria and several other Balkan countries. This Israel Bulgaria partnership was established last year when AmCham Israel hosted the annual Best Practices Conference for the American Chambers in Europe (ACE) organization with 45 American Chambers of Commerce.
